Double bookings are a thing of the past when you use Resource 2000 Booking Manager. This useful little package is a remake of our original Resource Manager which was designed to take care of booking rooms for training courses and other training equipment such as computers and overhead projectors. Hairdressers and beauticians, sports therapists, training centres, cyber cafes to name just a few users of the original package. This package can be run on a single PC or as a network package if you purchase the relevant licence. It is easy to install and use. Add each of your resources to a Resource List. If you have it and someone else uses it then it's a resource. Not sure? u Add it anyway, there are no real limits on this list, but you can add around 32000 This application is about booking a Resource for parts of a day. So how long is your day. Not much point displaying hours that will never be used, it will only clutter up the screen. The defaults are set at 08:00 to 18:00 which displays 20 half hour slots per day. Do you want to hold on to the booking information, after the date is past. Set up the history to clear down after a certain number of days.There are two view options, 7 days or 31 days. The first column always initialises on the current day. This may be changed by moving forward or back by one day or seven days. This is accomplished by using buttons supplied for the job. Moving in larger increments is carried out by a calendar selection. Now you are ready to make bookings!Bookings can now be made to span several days, up to 31 if you have the View set to 31 days. Spanning means that you can book the coffee room every morning between 9:30 and 10:00. The screens are easy to read. For the Resource that's selected, its booked slots are shown on the week or month planner. Each booking is given a code number, so that block bookings can be seen at a glance.
